To ensure all of our records are up to date and correct, we require each returning member of The Workshop Studios and Legacy Dance Company UK to update their details and digitally renew their permission agreements for our Terms and Conditions, Media Consent and First Aid administration.

Any new students wishing to join us will need to register using the second form below.

As mentioned in the video, we will also be adhering to the current NHS Test and Trace procedure as part of our Covid-19 secure practice.

If you’ve decided attending classes with us is no longer right for you, that’s totally ok.  We do however ask that you please let us know, so we can remove your personal information from our system and allow people from our waiting list to be able to join classes.

  • TERMS & CONDITIONS – We have updated our T&C’s. Please ensure you have thoroughly read and acknowledged what is required of both parents/guardians and students as a member of The Workshop Studios and/or Legacy Dance Company UK.
  • MEDIA CONSENT – It is a requirement for all parents/guardians to have confirmed media consent permission with us. We will never share information or publicise personal details about any child. Photographs and/or video footage is purely for online, social media or print marketing, or evaluation purposes by the qualified and DBS checked staff only.
If there is a safeguarding issue involved around this, please contact us privately via email so we can discuss a suitable solution.
  • FIRST AID ADMINISTRATION – If in the event your child has an accident or becomes ill whilst in our care, or worst case needs the attention of the emergency services – we require your consent to carry out the appropriate action necessary.
  • NHS TEST & TRACE –  To ensure the safety of all students and staff, should anyone develop symptoms or be diagnosed with Coronavirus, they should seek medical advice immediately by calling 111. The NHS test and trace team should then contact any groups who they have been in recent contact with. Should that include The Workshop Studios and/or Legacy Dance Company UK,  we will pass on the relevant information relating to those who have been in attendance and then follow advice accordingly.

PLEASE NOTE – Due to the unavailability of several of our previous venues, we have had to move classes to different locations in Norwich. We understand this may affect some people’s ability to get to lessons which we greatly apologise for, however this was the only option to get classes back up and running and is a temporary measure until our own studio building renovation is finished.

The timetable will look slightly different to what was in place before lockdown due to class size and social distancing restrictions. We are doing our best to offer as much as possible in a safe way, while still retaining our high standards of technique and training. We have sought out professional advice for our sector, consulting both Health & Safety and Dance business experts regarding ways of resuming classes. This has included clarifying what is law, what is guidance and what is best practice. With that in mind, we have taken the decision to run socially distanced classes as opposed to fixed groups or bubbles. This means students will be able to access most, if not all of their training at the level they were at before lockdown.

Obviously social distancing will mean classes will be delivered differently, so we’d appreciate parent/guardian support in reinforcing the reminders and also making sure things like drop off / pick up are prompt so we avoid cross over as much as possible. Students need to arrive ready to take part with appropriate footwear, labelled water bottle, own sanitiser if they have it and any equipment required as mentioned in the video.

If anyone would like to review our risk assessments and delivery plans, please email us.
