The Workshop Studios will ask you for your contact and relevant other necessary details when you join as a member to take part in our classes, companies and workshops.
These details will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of company administration. They will not be disclosed to any person outside of The Workshop Studios unless the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR) allows this – for example if we are required by a law enforcement body to do so.
To support student development, we record progress, personal progression and achievement whilst being part of The Workshop Studios. We use various activities, forms and conversations to do this. The point of these evaluations is to help evidence the effectiveness and value of our work and ensure we as staff are all on the same aim trajectory.
All personal information is treated confidentially and if used in reports, all information is anonymised.
What data we ask for and how we ask for it –
All contact details supplied for students under 18 must be for a parent or legal guardian. We can include a cc’d email address for an under 18, however the primary point of contact must be the parent/guardian.
When registering to join, we request the following details:
Email and postal address, contact phone number, participants full name, date of birth, any relevant medical information, an ISTD Pin number if relevant plus Ts & Cs and media consent.
This information is only required once a full discussion regarding services has been had and the student will be attending The Workshop Studios as a member. In the immediate contact, we only ask for name and email address.
You may contact us via our website, social media pages or email. Once you have supplied your contact details, we store it safely on The Workshop Studios secure database.
What we do with your data
If you are a member of The Workshop Studios, it is understood that we will retain your data for the duration of your time with us to enable safe and secure contact regarding the students training with us.
If you audition for either of The Workshop Companies and are unsuccessful, or are an interested party who may have attended an event, we will retain your details to inform you of any suitable upcoming opportunities that are open to all.
If you wish to stop receiving information from us at any point you can let us know by emailing us directly.
We will not share your data with any 3rd parties.
We will not sell your data.

The Workshop Studios may take photographs or video for promotional, evaluation and archive purposes.
These images may appear on our social media accounts online, website and printed publications.
