DANCE TEACHER POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Norwich, Norfolk – Starting April 2020 (Ongoing position)
We are looking for reliable, confident and experienced dance teachers to join the team at our busy and expanding training venue.
With 40 classes a week we are hoping to find the right candidates to help us deliver our diverse and high-quality timetable. We provide an all-round training combining ISTD syllabus and exams in Ballet, Modern and Tap, with Jazz, Musical Theatre, Acro, PBT, Pre-school classes, Technique & Tumbling, Adult Tap and Audition Preparation for our Senior students who wish to progress on to vocational training.
We produce shows, compete and bring in industry specialists, so choreographic development is very much encouraged.
We are also the home of LEGACY Dance Company UK which is an all male youth dance company, training over 45 boys and young men from the age of 4-21.
We thrive on providing inspiring, quality artistic education. Whether our students want to go on to a career in the arts or not – every person is encouraged to achieve their best in every class.
If you are an ISTD grade specialist, a Hip Hop or break dancer, a Musical Theatre triple threat, a dedicated ballet teacher or something else – we want to hear from you!! (Please note – Anyone teaching ISTD syllabus needs to hold a minimum of DDE or be in the process of qualifying).
As long as you are passionate about teaching, have experience in your field, understand the safe practice and development of young people and are dedicated – you may find your next home at The Workshop Studios.
We do ask that you are able to commit to the academic year. This is not a job for someone between contracts. Our students deserve the full dedication and reliability of someone willing to invest in them and the highest effort and standard from all staff is expected.
There are a flexible number of hours per week available with excellent rates of hourly pay depending on your genre, availability and experience. You will be expected to teach at least one class as part of the interview process.
The positions are available from 20/4/2020 and will be permanent for as long as both parties agree.
To apply, please send your cv and a cover letter to: firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to hearing from you
